SUMMARY:DHS / U.S. Secret Service - Threat Assessment Workshops (Individuals Exhibiting Concerning Behavior)
DESCRIPTION:The U.S. Secret Service and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security invite you to attend a FREE USSS National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC) Workshop. \nThis workshop will consist of the following topics:\n Identifying potential threats and individuals who may be exhibiting concerning behaviors in the community\n Investigating and gathering information on the background and behaviors of concerning individuals\n Assessing whether individuals pose a threat of violence or other harmful behavior\n Developing risk management strategies and interventions\n Interactive case studies \nThis training\, provided by U.S. Secret Service and DHS Office of Infrastructure Protection\, will be based on operational research conducted by the NTAC and will offer best practices on preventing incidents of targeted violence.
