In many jurisdictions around the country already affected by illicit Fentanyl\, W-18/carfentanil\, and U-47700 this course has become mandatory. If your agency has not encountered these substances yet\, you will! \nThe course covers what these dangerous substances are\, what they look like\, where they come from and how to protect yourself from potentially deadly contact. DESCRIPTION:Over the past ten years the HCPA Training Committee has partnered with the Mental Health community to bring Crisis Intervention Team (C.I.T.) training and Mental Illness/Mental Health Response training to the greater law enforcement community in and around Hamilton County. We are proud to have been a part of certifying hundreds of police officers\, dispatchers and emergency responders in C.I.T. and other important programs that benefit so many people we encounter. \nThis year is no exception\, and I am pleased to announce four more certification classes for this year. Mental Health America has partnered with the University of Cincinnati Police Department for two of these sessions (September and December)\, while the other classes will be held in Sharonville (in October) and Springfield Township (in December).
