DESCRIPTION:This course will cover the use of the TDI fixed blade knife.  \nAreas covered will be: \n-Use of Force \n-Cutting Angles \n-Types of Cuts \n-Defensive Use \n-Firearms Weapon Retension \n-Third party protection with an edge weapon. \n-Also covered will be folding knife deployment and use as an impact weapon. \nEquipment Needed: \n-Eye Protection \n-Dress for physical activity \n-Duty belt with holster \n-Training handgun – ( If a training handgun is not available ALL live handguns will be cleared and roped prior to start of class.  \nNO AMMUNITION\, TASER\, BATON\, KNIVES owned by the student\, or  CHEMICAL AGENT will be ALLOWED in the CLASS \nLocation: 7640 Plainfield Rd.
