Terry Viel\, Officer James Clements \nCourse Description: This course is designed for all police officers who are (or could be) assigned to the role of Officer In Charge on their department. For some agencies\, an officer is chosen from the ranks to act as the first-line supervisor for the shift\, the day or a short period of time. With preparation the OIC candidate will be successful in decision making\, policy and procedure application\, scene management\, personnel management and many other aspects of being the person in charge of the shift. \nOur team of highly qualified leaders will teach topics such as Leadership Preparation\, Modern Polic-ing Principles\, Cultural Competency\, Citizens Complaints\, Use of Force issues\, Legal Environment\, and finish with Scene Management which will include table-top exercises.
