SUMMARY:“LE-TMC” Law Enforcement - Tactical Medical Course
DESCRIPTION:This is NOT a Stop The Bleed class! You will learn the real world techniques you need! This class is intended to prepare you to save yourself and others. We are committed to bringing you the most up to date\, relevant training based on nationally accepted standards\, practices and research from JSOM\, SOMA and CO-TCCC/ TCCC-MP. The class is limited to 24 students on a first come first served basis. \nSkills will include: \n– Tourniquet application\n– Wound packing\n– Pressure dressing application\n– Pressure points\n– Basic airway maneuvers\n– Chest seals\n– Hypothermia treatment\n– Drags and carries (downed Officer extract) in and around your cruiser\n– Scenario based training to solidify your skills \nClass requirements: \n– Duty belt\, daily duty gear and clothes you are not afraid to get dirty\n– Officer in good physical condition\, (no injuries that will limit your        participation) the scenarios can be physically demanding\n– No live ammo will be used during this class\, Weapons will be roped \n*Each student will leave with his or her own pocket IFAK* (Individual First Aid Kit) \nCost: $150 \nFor Registration or Questions Contact: training@hcpaswat.org \nMake PO or Checks payable to Hamilton County Police Association and send to Tim Chin at Terrace Park PD 428 Elm Ave #1 Terrace Park\, Ohio 45174 *** Have payment in by 3/31/2021 ***
