8 Hour Patrol Rifle

This course will cover a variety of topics, starting with educating the shooter about the capabilities of their patrol rifle and duty ammo they carry. This course is designed for the beginner, intermediate or advanced shooter on proper Patrol Rifle skills. The course will include lecture, demonstrations and multiple drills to test the limits of their weapon manipulation, with balance of accuracy and speed.
This course covers:
– Nomenclature of your rifle
– Carbine set-up
– Loading and Unloading
– Trigger control concepts
– Zeroing (Proper Prone)
– Proper Grip and Stance
– Emergency Reloading
Equipment requirements:
– Reliable Carbine
– 3 magazines minimum
– Sling
– At least one (1) rifle mag pouch belt carry or carrier
– 350 Rifle rounds / 50 Duty rounds
