Is your organization prepared for the busy upcoming sports season? Whether you manage high school, college, or professional sporting events, it is vital to understand the unique aspects of response to an incident occurring during a sports/special event. Learn how to effectively manage an incident by attending the upcoming TEEX training, MGT 404 Sports and Special Events Incident Management, on August 22-23, 2017. This class will begin promptly at 8 a.m. and will conclude by 5 p.m. both days, and will be held at the Cintas Center at Xavier University.

The target audience for this course is: athletic department staff, facility management personnel, campus public safety, emergency response supervisors, and personnel responsible for special/sporting event incident management. Course Goals
Students will learn to consider business continuity and after-action activities after an incident during a sporting event
Students will learn skills necessary to effective management an incident by applying a multi-disciplinary management team approach.
