Crisis Communications: Responding To The Media And The Public

Course Description: Mr. Weaver is a communications advisor with decades of national and Ohio-based crisis communications experience. He’s counseled clients in 18 states. NBC News in Charlotte, North Carolina called Mr. Weaver “one of the nation’s foremost experts in crisis communications.” This class will help your agency be ready to effectively communicate when a crisis occurs. There will be multiple hands-on interview exercises as well as practical tips on dealing with difficult questions and aggressive reporters. Government leaders don’t know when a crisis will hit their agency but they can make sure they are prepared when it happens. This is your chance to get prepared.
