ICS-300 Intermediate ICS for Expanding Events
Course Description:
This 18-hour classroom course is designed for front-line personnel with supervisory responsibilities, such as the Incident Commander or Planning Section Chief. The three-day curriculum includes instruction in general principles associated with incident command, along with various tabletop exercises that allow students to put this knowledge to practical use (with Emerald City Flood Scenario).

Required Prerequisites:
Required: IS-100, IS-200, IS 700 and ICS-800 (Students must provide copies of their certificates on day one of the course) http://training.fema.gov/IS/crslist.aspx?all=true (Call the FEMA Independent Study (IS) Office at 1-800-238-3358 if you need to request replacement FEMA (IS) certificates of completion and they will email them to you).
Course Target Audience:
The target audience for this course is individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents. Note: During an expanding incident, some or all of the Command and General Staff positions may be activated, as well as Division/Group Supervisor and/or Unit Leader level positions. These incidents may extend into multiple operational periods. This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
