ICS 400- Advanced ICS for Command & General Staff
The Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency is hosting a training course entitled “ICS 400- Advanced ICS for Command & General Staff,” on April 4-5, 2017 at the Nathanael Greene Lodge, 6394 Wesselman Road Cincinnati, OH 45248. This training course is essential for those responsible for supervisory roles during expanding incidents, and has been designated a “required” course for Hamilton County Emergency Operations Center representatives.
Course Goals
- Explain how major incidents pose special management challenges.
- Describe the circumstances in which an Area Command is established.
- Describe the circumstances in which Multiagency Coordination Systems are established.
Target Audience
- Senior personnel expected to serve in a management role during an incident or event, EOC representatives. All disciplines encouraged.
Prerequisites
- IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800
- This class builds on the knowledge gained in ICS 300.
