ICS-400 Advanced ICS for Command & General Staff
Course Description:
This training is a 14-hour classroom course that provides training on the advanced resource management provisions of the Incident Command System (ICS). Course topics include explaining the special management challenges of major incidents, as well as explaining how Multi-Agency Coordination Systems (MACS) are established. The target audience for this course is senior personnel who expect to perform in a management capacity in an Area Command or Multi-Agency Coordination Entity.

Required Prerequisites:
Required: IS-100, IS-200, ICS-300, IS-700 and IS-800 (Students must provide copies of their certificates on day one of the course) http://training.fema.gov/IS/crslist.aspx?all=true (Call the FEMA Independent Study (IS) Office at 1-800-238-3358 if you need to request replacement FEMA (IS) certificates of completion and they will email them to you).
Course Target Audience:
The target audience for this course includes senior personnel who expect to perform in a management capacity at an incident or event. This includes individuals who may serve as Incident Commander or as members of the Command or General Staff, Area Command, or Multiagency Coordination Group/Emergency Operations Center (EOC) management. This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 through ICS-300 courses.

Lodging, Meals, Per Diem and all other travel expenses are the responsibility of the student or the parent organization.
