Lock Pick Training For Law Enforcement: Covert & Non-Destructive Entry
Attendees at this training workshop will be instructed in the basics of picking and opening standard (non-high security) pin tumbler and disk wafer locks. Pin tumbler locks are the most common lock in America found on almost every residential, apartment and business door and padlock. Disk wafer locks are commonly found on alarm box panels, file cabinets, desk locks, cabinet doors, small safes, and utility boxes. All attendees, in normal physical condition, will be competent to pick locks upon conclusion of the training session. All training equipment and supplies will be provided at the workshop.
Students will be issued a six-piece stainless steel professional lock pick set and case and a door lock cylinder for after-course practice. Some of the practical applications for law enforcement include home lockouts, apartment gates, office and cabinet locks, padlocks, SWAT entries, search/arrest warrants, hostage rescue, surveillance device insertion.
This class is for law enforcement only. Proper credentials required on the day of class.
