Mental Health First Aid (Adult Version) Training

February 15, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm UTC+5

Sharonville PD along with Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky & Southwest Ohio will be conducting free Mental Health First Aid (Adult Version) training. This is an eight-hour class designed to prepare the student to help individuals who are developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.  This training helps the student better identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness.  Although not as comprehensive as the 40-hour CIT classes, Mental Health First Aid sets a solid foundation for helping those suffering from mental illness.

Classes will be held at the Sharonville Fire Headquarters.  Currently, we have three classes scheduled: 2/6, 2/15, and 3/21.  To register for this free training, follow this link http://www.mhankyswoh.org/Home to the Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky & Southwest Ohio website.  Look for “Upcoming Events” on the left side of the home page, click on the training of your choice, and the registration window will pop up. Complete and submit the registration window, and you will receive a confirmation email.

For further information, contact Officer Cheryl Price, Sharonville Police Department, (513)563-1147 or cprice@cityofsharonville.com.
