Training Day by Hamilton County Coroner’s Office, Prosecutor, Herion Coalition Task Force
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office will team up with the Hamilton County Police Association, the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Hamilton County Heroin Coalition Task Force to present a one-day comprehensive training seminar on critical topics important to police officers, criminal investigators and first-line supervisors.
Hamilton County Coroner’s Office will present on Handling Death Investigations & Suicides; Drug Packaging, Submissions and Lab Processing; Trace Evidence and DNA; and Firearms Handling and Processing.
Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office will present on critical legal issues, court rules and processes, and expectations from their office on criminal prosecutions.
Hamilton County Heroin Coalition Task Force will present on investigations of heroin overdoses and related drugs cases.
Patrol Officers, Criminal Investigators and Police Supervisors are strongly encouraged to attend this FREE seminar. At the conclusion of the training program all attendees will be encouraged to share this important information with all members of their departments to ensure consistent operating principles and best practices for crime scene processing, handling evidence, case preparation, and trial presentation throughout our local law enforcement community. The Hamilton County Police Association Training Committee will produce a training bulletin covering the course material to disseminate to all Hamilton County Police Agencies at the close of the seminar. It will be available to agencies for future training purposes after October 25th.
